1912 Tuttle Home - original home sited on Yankee Clipper Inn oceanfront property. Decking was added in the early 1920s on the oceanside. The building was razed and replaced in 1929 with an ornate Art Deco style building During WWII the building served as a boarding house and entered the venue of tourism in 1946 under the ownership of Fredrich Wemyss. The Inn opened on the Full Service American Plan - 3 meals a day. The Bulfinch House - (built in 1840, and located directly across Granite Street) was purchased in 1952. The swimming pool was built in 1955; the Quarterdeck was built in 1957 (appx)on the site of a former hay field.
